Sectional FFA Opening/Closing Contest

Congratulations to the 18 Sierra-Manteca FFA students that competed in the 2016 Sectional FFA Opening/Closing contest on Wednesday, September 28.  The Officer Team received Gold and was awarded Outstanding Officer Team.  Open Team A received Gold.  Open Team B also received Gold.

Merced 2016

 Bridgette Walraven placed as 1st High Individual, Emily Kehl placed as 4th High Individual and the team placed 2nd High Team for the entire contest.  



Arbuckle FD 2016

Amber Zarevich placed 2nd high individual and Krystal Luis placed 8th high individual in the Marketing contest.  Ava Gonsalves placed 1st high individual, Waldo Del Angel placed 2nd high individual and Jessa Johnson placed 9th high individual in the Job Interview contest

 Chapter Officer Team

The Chapter Officer Team and two Open Teams competed in the Delta Cal Sectional Opening/Closing contest.  The Chapter Officer Team received Gold.  Open Team A received Gold and Outstanding Open Team.  Open Team B received Bronze.

The Sierra FFA Chapter Officer team placed 3rd High Team at the Oakdale High School Invitational Opening/Closing Contest

This student received Outstanding Sentinel out of all the Open Teams who participated in the Oakdale High School Invitational Opening/Closing Contest

 Sectional Speech

Eight Sierra FFA students competed in the Sectional Speech Contest at Linden High School.  For the Job Interview Contest, one contestant placed 2nd and the other contestant placed 4th.  These students will now compete in the Regional contest in February.  The CO-OP (Marketing) team placed 3rd.  One CO-OP contestant placed 1st high individual.  Another student placed 7th in the Extemporaneous contest.
